How to reach sabarmathi ashram from railwaystation, Ahmedabad jn....??

From railway station bus stop as indicated in the first image in red color you can find a bus(bus stop shown in second image)to subhash road circle which is indicated in third image. From subhas road its just the walk-able distance to Sabarmathi ashram. but though you can get direct bus to ashram but to feel the city,I think its better to take a little walk.

Places to visit in Ahmedabad

Places to visit in Ahmedabad

As we all know Ahmedabad is the textile hub,but apart from that its the land which gave the grate no silent warriors for freedom moment,There are number of things in Ahmedabad to support this statement. Ahmedabad is also recognized for its education in present days.its the cleanest city with wide roads(though you can find traffic in some areas, Relief road for example)

Here is the list which if feel worth visiting at Ahmedabad.
1. Sabarmathi ashram(I love it) - The Ashram were Mahatma Gandhi and Vinoba bhave stayed more then a decided n initiated the freedom moment, also it has a museum and library where you can find the thousand of books about Gandhiji, Freedom moment, Photos..etc.you can take a WiFi tour of ashram(follow the instruction given at the entrance of the ashram).

2. Teen darwaja - Its the one of the recognized textile market in the Ahmedabad. Here you can find street stores selling all kind of items(clothing to dining mats).the connecting streets between teen darwaja and relief road are full of cloth stores.

3. NID,Ahmedabad - Nid is the topmost design collage in India and  it falls in top fifty in world ranking list. If you are the fine art lover then it should be in top of "to do" list, you will feel the aroma of design in the campus. Nid is located in Paldi, and can be visited inside as visitor where you nee to register and get the batch.

4. Subarmathi front - A please place to walk n talk over the bank of river sabarmathi river.

5. Laal darwaja - A mosque with a near by underground cloth market.

6. Gandhi raod - again a know cloth market.

The best way to visit all these area is to first visit the ashram(opens at 8.am) then NID(from ashram a shared auto will charge you 15-20 Rs till Paldi and then the 5 more Rs journey to the right) then you can visit the lal darwaja, see the mosque and underground market, then move to teen darwaja n then you can reach railway station passing through the Gandhi road.

There are many more things in Ahmedabad but this is my list.
